What is included
The gate bell on your phone
A video intercom is an outdoor panel with a camera and a call button, a monitor in the house, an electric lock in the garden gate and a power supply. Newer models add an app, so you answer the gate bell on your phone, even when you are away.
When we replace an old intercom, we check the cables first. Two-wire video intercoms run on two wires, like the old system, so the job often needs no wall chasing or new cables. If the wires are missing or damaged, we suggest another solution.
We position the panel so that the camera sees the face of the person at the gate rather than the street, and so that the sun does not shine into the lens. If the driveway gate has a motor, we connect it to the video intercom, and fobs let the household open the garden gate without a key.
